Quarterly Peek Behind the Curtain.

Welcome back to our quarterly series where we give you a closer look at how we bring different projects to life at the Bo-Mer facility. We thought you might enjoy a quick video of our last quarter of 2021 as we get back into the swing of things following the holidays.

Discover how Bo-Mer creates these high-quality & functional stroller parts using rotational molding…

This quarterly “Peek Behind the Curtain” follows the process of creating a Medical Tag Dispenser, from start to finish. Processes used are: CNC machining, heat bending, full assembly, and packaging.

The last “Peek Behind the Curtain” of 2022 follows the process of creating a Vacuum Formed Component Trays, from start to finish. As you will see in the video, this is a pretty straightforward process, as we like to refer to as ‘suck and ship’ kind of jobs- form the parts, quickly trim it to its shape, and out the door, it goes.

These trays are used in customers’ cabinets or toolboxes for material handling and storage.
Moving into the year 2023, “Peek Behind the Curtain” guides you through the process of making Firefighter Simulation Training Parts using thermoforming. This product allows firefighters to practice putting out simulated fires without exposing them to any real, dangerous elements.
In our Q2 “Peek Behind the Curtain,” we take a look at our thermoforming process for manufacturing a medical device cover from a single sheet of PETG plastic. Our vacuum forming process in conjunction with 5-axis trimming techniques and value-added services allow us to create large, complex, and unique shapes while minimizing material waste.
