Pressure Forming

We have the ability to concentrate on fine detail here at Bo-Mer, which is where processes such as pressure forming are used to precisely form a part. Pressure forming is a more advanced form of vacuum forming. The mold creates the desired shape with the force of a vacuum on one side of the sheet and compressed air pressure on the other. Pressure forming can produce the fine detail that injection molding can, however it is done at a fraction of the cost.

Bo-Mer sees pressure forming as a useful tool in providing superior value to customers.

There are several advantages that make it one of our top processes:

  • Remarkable cosmetics with improved detail and uniformity (appearance of an injection molded part).

  • More cost effective than injection molding.

  • Ideal for larger parts.

  • Improved design capabilities with texture and detail.

  • Can achieve complex geometry such as undercuts.
